Over the centuries, designers have used a number of methods, processes and techniques to fit the demands of the evolving world. 

As long as humans are involved in decision-making, these methods will shape the presence and outcomes of our thinking about integrated design function.

The design function includes nearly 300 methods, processes, and workflows that shape the very essence of design in your org, not only how it is delivered but also how it is perceived and valued. 

The history has shown us that with any technological advancement, we are always trying to adjust our behaviour to new phenomena – stone, steel, paper, digital. We often simplify our intention into diagrams, charts, and chain flows to represent the sequential thinking. #274 series is not about better or worse design methods or whether the method belongs to one discipline or another. It is about the toolset that designers use to shape the new era through advanced thinking. 

Over the last 10 years, we have researched, stress tested and scrutinised close to 300 design methods that will be part of this series. Our ambition is to create an environment for debate and operational excellence that drives business growth.
