Dear (none)Designer,

Welcome back to the second Design at Scale™ Newsletter –where the first and most important question for this venture is: why now?

Design is one of the most dynamic and discussed industries out there. Not everyone has a clear opinion on what the good looks like and why they prefer one version of a product over another. Unfortunately, very few can distinguish and clearly articulate why one is better than the other. Subjective opinions matter, and taste gets challenged in some situations.

Over the last two decades, I have had the opportunity to be part of some key defining moments of the broadcast, education, media, fintech and health tech. Standing at the forefront of the music and media services that shape today's perception of what the connected experience looks like and feels like.

More than product and services development, I have interviewed over 500 colleagues from business, product, engineering and management to find out what really resonates and elevates the team at scale in medium and large organisations.

All these findings are summarised under a Design at Scale™ Framework, which reflects on the Design Maturity Matrix and Operational Excellence. Soon, we'll be investing time in publishing these findings and sharing insights from these contributors.

That's all for this edition! I hope these insights were useful and sparked new ideas for scaling your design propositions. Remember, the journey from concept to widespread impact is a shared one, and your experiences are invaluable. Keep experimenting, keep learning, and stay tuned for our next newsletter, featuring more strategies and success stories from our incredible community.

Happy scaling!

Design at Scale™ is defined by three models, which form the Method. Each model operates in a different part of the business and collects and informs parties on design and engineering decisions that have a direct impact on the delivery.

All brands and trademarks presented on the Design at Scale™ website are owned by their relevant companies or agencies. The projects represent collaborations between designers, developers and product owners. Do not copy or publish any of the projects shown here without written approval from Design at Scale™ (alternatively GIVE™, 9V™) and/or relevant companies and agencies.
